It’s time to accept the assignment

God's Word

Royal Decree, March 22, 2026

From the seat of Katrina Ruth, where I am placed by the Lord and remain, always, at His will.

The Lord showed me clearly, it is time to accept the assignment.

It is time to get up, walk forward, and accept the place He has given you, prepared for you, and has waiting for you.

I bet you didn’t think, did you, that when eventually, finally, predictably, by the Word of God, He told you “it’s time!”, and “I am sending you!”, and “NOW”, that some big part of you would falter, pause, and then try to remain in hiding.

I know I didn’t.

“This is only what I’ve wanted my whole life Lord!”, I sobbed.

“Only what I’ve always KNOWN, so why am I apparently scared of it?!”

It’s weird.

Many of us spent years, even decades, in the pursuit of self. Some actively and overtly through chasing success in the world, and falling down the slippery slope of self-exaltation, lust and desire of the flesh, and every possible Jezebellic way we could find to dress, posture, pose, be, and also lead others. For others amongst us it was more subtle, clothed in ministry or a life of being Christian yet not … exactly … abiding fully surrendered in Christ.

Can I tell you?

Abiding fully in Christ, and He in you also means you say yes to the ENTIRETY of what He gives you vision for you, and you actively go after and find more.

You live a life of DESPERATE hunger for the Lord, where the more you receive and see revealed, the more you seek and also find, where your satisfaction is found in pursuing ever more of Him, His promises, His will, His way, and His right declaration and decree over and through your life, and then it keeps going.

Accepting ‘just enough’. Allowing a ‘little bit of His power and authority’, only when things get really sketchy and you remember who you are and that you better act it. Believing in and chasing after and knowing you HAVE the favour of the Lord but just for fun little things like a car park, or alternatively for really big huge life-altering things, but only for other people who you intercede for …

is unbelief.

It’s a lack of faith.

And without faith, it’s impossible to please God.

Our flesh simultaneously wants to be lord, and have its needs and wants met, exalted, then lauded to all and sundry, it wants what it wants and won’t stop til it gets it!

Yet at the same time it resists and refuses the fact that Jesus already gave you everything, in Him you live and move and breathe and have your being, you have eternal life and also the fullness of life in THIS life, He has exalted and lifted you up, He positions you in high places, His favour surrounds you ALWAYS like a shield, so you literally shouldn’t be making a move where favour didn’t go first, He directs and guides your path, straightens it always, re-routes every wrong move and turns it to good, grants your every sanctified desire and want and need, has called you to be a voice and vessel to nations, equips you with angel armies, sends the right intercessors, team, counsel, and even perfect lunch choice to support the mission He made you for, causes your leaf to NEVER wither and die, has already not only given you the promised land, but will be the one who causes you to enter and occupy it, never forgets the little things yet already signed off on the BIGGEST of things, and on top of the fact that He ordains and supernaturally graces every bit of it as you walk forward He also blesses every bit of it as you go!

Oh, and did I mention that the whole thing is WAY higher, broader, more wondrous, exciting and yes than even the highest thought or way you yourself ever came up with? PS he already closed the door on the striving bit, and it all comes from rest.

For. His. GLORY. Amen.

Yet somehow we RESIST all of this, we resist the unending promises, favour, and destiny already delivered which in Christ we get to simply walk forward in, shouting yes! And Amen! And somehow we’d be so much more comfortable with simply … erm … making ourself into something.

Grinding it out, we can accept.

Building laboriously, yet without the Lordship of Jesus, that makes sense to us.

Proving ourselves. Our worth. Our value. And our right to move around as many little chess pieces of this life as we want, to work and fight harder than anyone for more, as well, not quite computing the fact that if you take DEATH,

and add it to MORE death,

or move one piece of death around to join it to another piece of death,

you just get more DEATH, and it really don’t matter how glitzy and shiny the tower you made it into seems to be, death + death can only ever add up to more death.

Oh Lord! That we would call out to you daily as the one who sends down to Sheol, and brings life up from the grave, and beseech you, cry out in your name in fact with the authority you’ve given us, to command death to be exposed in our life and any and every effort we might be making which is outside of you, then let life reign, yours, abundantly, in and through us, in what we build. How we vision. How we dream. What we SEE. And where we give our yes and right decree.

I saw the Lord.

Clearly showing me.

It is TIME.

It is time to take the place He has appointed you to.

It is time to recognise and cast off a spirit of fear.

It is time to fan the flames of the ministry you’ve been given.

You don’t need to understand every bit of why that fear is there. Every bit of why, despite knowing your whole life that you were born for this, you’re now keeping yourself in a wilderness which did not come from God, hiding instead of coming forward, scared to take the stage which He has ordained for you.

Yes it may be, as has been the case with me, one part caution, a firm desire to not inadvertently return to your old ways, the way of it being all about you.

Allow me to remind you what I’ve oft had the Lord remind me:

Just because you created a really quite impressive (in the world) counterfeit destiny using the gifts He gave you, doesn’t mean you need or in any way could consider it responsible and right to not go all in on His original design for you which happens to include the exact same gifts and call.

It’s time to trust that God is causing the unfolding.

And no.

You don’t need to understand every bit of why the fear is there.

But you DO need to address it, and intentionally fan to life the flames of the ministry He has given you which is to be fully YOU, so now tell me –

What does that look like, if you’re being honest, and speaking from HIS thoughts for you?

Write the vision.
MAKE IT PLAIN.

And take command of your flesh woman (or man), because you DO have authority over it.

“Soul, every part of my flesh, I command you to be quiet in Jesus Name. Be quiet, submit to the Lord Jesus, and OBEY. I declare I do NOT have a spirit of fear, I repent for engaging with it knowingly or unknowingly, and I declare I have a sound mind and the wisdom, strength, and direction of the Lord to take the position God has given me!”

You need to get up.

Get up!

I speak to your spirit now, and I say GET UP, in Jesus Name.

You need to accept the assignment.

You need to disregard now, and give to Him on repeat, the bits where you’re in fear of man, worried about accidentally making it about you again, thinking about what this person or that thinks, and also you’re kinda scared of the endlessness and even the where to start of the ‘how’.

You need to simply say yes.

GET UP, I say to you, and walk forward NOW in Jesus Name to the place He has called you to.

See even now as He clothes and cloaks you afresh, as He sends angel armies, as ministrations and provisions from heaven appear for beyond every need you may have.

Accept the commissioning.
Receive the holy mantle.

Accept it is YOU, and it is time.

You know if this is for you.

Understand the how is in His hands. He will reveal what you need to know, as you need to know it. Yet only when you live a life of truly seeking Him, for all of Him, and having Him as your first.

By definition if your hunger is elsewhere, that’s what you’ll receive and find and also hunger for ever more of.

It’s also called idolatry, and yes, it will DESTROY your destiny, often with very soft silent whispers which kill you before you even really notice.

Be RELENTLESS in your pursuit of His presence.

Take seriously the fact that this is your LIFE, and it is dripping down the hourglass NOW.

CRY OUT for the fear of the Lord, and wait until His weight of it rests upon you and you couldn’t pursue the ‘you’ or the ‘it’s only’ or ‘just for a minute’ things if you tried.

Give your life.

Give everything.

Give it daily.

IT’S THE ONLY WAY, and when you don’t know how, which in our own way we never do, simply start again with opening your mouth and speaking it out because in your tongue you are prophesying and CREATING either life or death, so get intentional and just decide which.

That’s enough for today.

Now you go and declare, decree, and prophesy over yourself, in communion with the Lord, what was for you, and what He is showing you.

Then get to work. The work He has given you. There’s no time to lose.

Remember –

Life is Now. Press Play.

  1. Such a powerful reminder that surrender isn’t a one-time decision—it’s an ongoing choice to keep walking in God’s vision, even when fear creeps in. I love how you described the journey of desiring more of Him and living in that desperation for His will.

  2. This message hit right in the heart of what many of us struggle with—those quiet moments when we know God has called us to move forward, yet fear still whispers in our ears. Katrina Ruth’s raw honesty about the tension between longing and fear is so relatable. It reminds me that true surrender isn’t about the absence of doubt, but the decision to step into the assignment anyway, trusting that He who called us will equip us for it.

  3. There is such a profound irony in spending years praying for a calling only to feel that hesitation when the ‘now’ finally arrives. Your reminder that abiding fully requires us to relinquish the pursuit of self and embrace the entirety of the vision is exactly the shift I needed to move past that fear.

  4. This message hit right in the heart of what many of us struggle with—those quiet moments when we know God has called us to move forward, yet fear still whispers in our ears. Katrina Ruth’s words remind us that true surrender isn’t about feeling brave; it’s about stepping into the assignment with faith, even when we’re scared. It’s a powerful call to embrace the vision He’s placed on our hearts, no matter how big or uncertain it may seem.

  5. This message really resonated with me—sometimes the hesitation is the loudest obstacle between us and what God has already set before us. Saying yes often means letting Him breathe new life into what we’ve been holding in stillness, almost like turning a single captured moment into something that finally moves. If you’re looking for a simple way to bring still images to life for a teaching, testimony, or church announcement, I’ve been using photo to video ai free and it’s made it so much easier to share stories visually. Praying this post stirs everyone reading to step into the assignment waiting for them.

  6. The raw honesty about the fear that often accompanies a divine ‘It’s time’ really resonates with me, especially that paradox of wanting the assignment while wanting to hide. It’s a powerful reminder that true abiding in Christ demands we move beyond the subtle Christianity of self-presence to a desperate hunger for the entirety of His will. Thank you for this timely decree encouraging us to finally step forward into the place He has prepared.

  7. I have been sitting on a message and a vision for far too long, and this post was the gentle but firm nudge I needed. Your point about fear being a signpost, not a stop sign, is one I will carry with me. While preparing some teaching videos for the next step, I came across video upscaler free and it made restoring old footage feel effortless.

  8. Such a powerful reminder that the assignment often feels bigger than we are, but that is exactly the point. I was wrestling with hesitation on a small creative project, and one tool that helped me stop overthinking and just start was an ASCII Art Generator — sometimes the act of simply making something small and faithful is its own kind of obedience. Thank you for the push forward.

  9. Stepping into the assignment God has placed on us takes real courage, especially when fear keeps whispering to wait. What helped me move past hesitation was treating each small task as sacred practice, trusting that the nudge itself is part of the confirmation. If you’re feeling called to start creating, an image editor ai can be a gentle first step to put the vision into form.

  10. Thank you for this powerful word — it really convicted me about the ‘yes’ being the part that matters, not the readiness. I’ve been sitting on something for months, and reading this was the push I needed. Even in the small daily work the right tool shows up right when we need it; I just had to convert MOV to MP3 online for a ministry video project and it came through right on time. Stepping forward in faith, one small yes at a time.
