FIND THE WORK THAT IS PURE

2 Chronicles 7:14 – 

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, 

and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

It was never meant to be something you pursue yourself.

You know that now, right?

The fixing up. The redeeming of. The next level you’ve been chasing.

The whole entire point is that you were never meant to go get it yourself, make it happen yourself, correct it yourself, prove yourself BY yourself or WITH yourself in order to EXALT yourself and maybe most of all, what some of us high-performers need to hear today?

Heal or save or take care of yourself.

You.

Are not your own Saviour.

Not meant to be.

And indeed can NOT be, no matter how much of your life you wanna give to trying to prove otherwise, all the while living with that ever increasing beat within you, that dis-comfort and dis-ease telling you that this ain’t it.

No. It is not it.

When you build a tower to the heavens.

When you prop up, polish up, and pretty up over the top of the mess that you wish you’d done differently.

Or when you in any way try to get yourself to a place that ONLY exists in God and can only in its TRUE (non-counterfeit and weary-making, no matter how good it first looks!) form bring life.

Did you build an entire counterfeit empire?

Did you dance to the beat of your own tune so insistently that you missed the bit where you became the one being danced over the top of?

Did you come into agreement with lust of money, sex, food, everything you could get your hands on because no matter how much MORE you had you still needed MORE MORE MORE again?

Did you screw up your finances royally even if you have a gift of procuring and creating wealth on your life?

Did you bastardise the work of your hands which was ordained for you?

Did you bring curses upon yourself, your household, your business, because you lived in such depravity?

Did you worship and dance and splay yourself out before every god of the world which came your way and promised you something?

Did you neglect to honour and take care of and steward well what was already yours?

Did you prostitute your gifts, your calling, your destiny, and nearly your entire life?

Well okay then.

We have some things in common.

“If my people.

Who are called by my name.

Will humble themselves.

And pray and seek my face.

And turn from their wicked ways.

Then I will hear from heaven.

And will forgive their sin.

And heal their land”.

Oh Lord, I thank you that you and you alone are good!

I thank you that your ways and thoughts are higher ALWAYS.

I thank you for the plans you have for me, and for my sister or brother reading this. Plans for hope, and a future. Plans to prosper us, and not to harm us. Plans beyond our wildest dreams or imaginings, and which can ONLY be breathed to life by the power of your Spirit through us, not by might or power, or any idea of our own!

Lord I thank you that you correct and straighten our paths.

That you bless us as we walk forward.

That when we commit our works to you you DO establish our thoughts, and then you establish that work which you then bless!

Lord I will give thanks to you for your mercy endures forever!

I will praise you all of my days.

Keep me in your ways I ask Lord,

and let your great Spirit and your Spirit of the Fear of God rest on me always.

Only God can heal. 

Only God can restore.

Only God can save.

Only God can clean up your mess, and CAUSE you to stop obsessing over what was so that His new thing can come through!

And He will.

And He will.

AND HE WILL.

Even King David cried out to God to save his land and “send prosperity now”.

This is how we are called to live.

THIS is who we are made to be.

God does not want us trying to meet Him halfway and He does not ASK us to fix what we did wrong or made a mess of, nor to get ourselves to our own next level!

If He expected that of us and we were capable of it we wouldn’t need a Saviour.

And we very very much do. In all regards. No need to try and jump up and down and insist otherwise, aren’t you tired of that? Don’t you want to be done with that? Don’t you want to run into the arms of the one who already died for you, bridged the gap of separation between God and you, is waiting on you, and who Himself will not only redeem and restore and heal what is yours in every way, but will also exalt you, lift you up, grace you where He places you, and set you aflight on eagles wings?!

You have to remember.

I have to remember.

We HAVE to remember.

God is pleased by faith, faith, faith, faith in His Son. Faith in His TOTAL ability, and His alone. Faith in the fact that we cannot do anything without Jesus. Through faith the fullness of what is already done, restored, renewed, redeemed, and given, is received, and God is pleased.

Meanwhile you? Me? Us who finally stop running and trying to ‘be’ of our own accord?

We are finally at ease.

And I don’t know if you know this. Or, more accurately, I don’t know if you’ve considered this?

But even if you did.

Scrape yourself a little further along.

Achieve a ‘next level’.

Fix what you DID.

Which I bet you did, in a way which meets at least some, and maybe many, of the worlds standards. ‘Cause that’s what high performers do. All the while berating themselves for still not doing enough, and all the while shoving down that still small voice which says this is NOT it.

Even if you did.

Didn’t work, did it?

Not in that you’re finally ‘there’ way.

Not in a sense of being done. 

Seen.

Known.

SAVED.

My love,

Salvation is not just for eternity.

LET GO.

Give it over.

Call on God to heal your land. Be the one His eyes are roaming the earth to and fro to search for. To show Himself STRONG in. Because your heart is perfect towards Him. Soft. Yielded. And willing.

We can’t be this without Him.

It is not possible without Him.

NONE of it is possible without Him.

And now here is something else –

As a creator. A leader. A revolutionary. One who is called to be the walking epistle and vessel of the Lord.

How do you expect to do the work you were truly called to do if the work you are doing is trying to save you from or to what only Jesus can?

isn’t it time to find the work that is pure?

You being you. But all of you.

Identity rightly planted. Secure. And true.

In the place which is the ONLY place where it is found which is in He who created you, knows you, never forsakes you, and has plans for you beyond your own best of the POSSIBLE best making.

Aren’t you ready to go in now?

To the true supernatural thing now?

The work which is graced by the God of heaven and for a purpose divinely REQUIRED in the beautiful tapestry God Himself is weaving on earth right now?

You –

Are effervescent beauty coloured with hues not even known on this earth.

Are a city on the hill. Called to be a light to those who need to see.

Are anointed. For purposes beyond your own natural comprehension, and in ways you can’t compute or walk forward with in your own strength!

Are ASSIGNED. For THIS time. For this day. For this moment! 

Are supernaturally carried already in advance in all of it.

You don’t have to figure it out.

You’re not meant to GET to where you can breathe and be.

In Jesus you ARE there, now, and fully.

Identity,

ACTIVATED.

And done.
