Slow down. Breathe. Eyes on Jesus. And let what He’s PUT in you, bubble out.

Slow down my love, breathe, take a moment with me, then one more.

Eyes fixed on Jesus …

And let’s let what He has PUT in us,

come out.

You can say (and these are some of my favourites):

“Slow me down Lord, and let me catch your beat”.

“Reveal what you have PUT in me today”.

“Cause you’re right unfolding through my work Lord”.

“Let my focus be you!”

“And let everything NOT of you which would try to distract or derail me right now fade away”.

All of this is powerful.

But if your lens right now is still urgency to get things done, to run run run to perform perform perform in order to be be be hopefully enough enough enough, well –

We have a problem.

And not one which can be solved by YOU, or by me!

Yet it IS a problem which is easily fixed when you simply refuse to negotiate with terrorists and trust that He who IS and WAS and evermore shall BE, will continue to do what only He can do and show you the way forward indeed LEAD you in it and oh – ! That way is Him.

Refusing to negotiate with terrorists means:

Refusing to bow to fear.

Refusing to be crippled by doubt.

Rejecting a spirit of confusion, or overwhelm.

Saying NO to the rush of anxious thoughts about why you didn’t already move 77 mountains by 2pm when in fact you can move EVERY mountain in Jesus Name but the question is which one is He actually calling you to focus on right now, which enemy in your mind is it time to REFUSE right now, and when you look to GOD,

what then?

Say: I declare my mind sound, clear, and focused, in Jesus Name. I bless my mind as the mind of Christ. I call divine order into my thoughts, ideas, and imagination, and I say this day and my every way in it is blessed and rightly arranged! Thank you Lord!

Focus on God and what He is already doing in you:

Rather than focusing on all of the what ifs and why didn’t you’s and when are you going to’s, or being pushed and pulled like a tiny boat in a big wind by all of the possibilities and shoulds just … refuse.

Has it ever worked for you anyway, to do that?

No. It has not.

Come back to the one thing.

Get His beat.

Believe He IS for you and will REVEAL for you.

Wait.

And He WILL lift you up.

Maybe a glimmer … an idea … a thought.

An instruction … directive … yes.

Follow it.

Understand you re co-labouring with the Creator of the Universe! As His child, He directs your thoughts!

Don’t worry.

Refuse it.

Say: I refuse worry in Jesus Name. No thank you! Yes, I understand all your very convincing reasons why I should accept you. But no thank you. NOW LEAVE.

Breathe.

It’s okay.

He has GOT you.

He is your provider.

Your respite.

Your protector.

He is FAVOURING you.

And His leading is in you by His Spirit,

right now.

A question or you –

If all you ever did was be in THIS moment here with Jesus, and then move in sync with Him into that next beat of the dance which is your supernaturally written life,

do you think you’d look back and miss all the times you tried to hold on and manage it yourself?

This is the way my love.

It’s the only way.
