LEARNING HOW TO BE

The problem is you’ve been trying to figure out how to leap frog to some big grand version, instead of just doing today’s work today.

Stuck in a loop of doing the spiritual equivalent of pushing paper endlessly around your desk all day, and then wondering why you’re so tired from so much doing yet have in fact done nothing at all.

Work, the real work, like flow, the real flow (and you understand these are not separate items or ideas!) fills up faster than it empties out.

The law of BEING, true being, simply being, is that it only replenishes and only can.

The underlying issue here is simple:

You’ve fallen prey to an idea that you can both bypass what it actually IS right now, and therefore what today’s work actually is, whilst also somehow doing allllllllll the work and things you think you would have done if you were already being the person, or in order to somehow springboard yourself in a day to being the person.

So that?

(And the so that is important. I suggest you look at it. You BEST be looking at it, if you want to actually get out of this place, and BE her!)

– So that you’re finally validated

– So that you’re finally seen

– So that you’re finally safe

– So that you can prove it to SOMEBODY (up theirs! so there! SEE!)

– So that you can finally quell the voice inside of you which says maybe you can’t and maybe you’ll never and maybe you never were.

OH, how I hate to do today’s work today at times! Oh how I LOATHE it, resist it, and am brilliant, actually, I’m talking award-winning levels, at coming up with reasons why I don’t actually have to.

“It’s because I need to go back to the vision! Write the vision afresh and make it plain!”

“It’s because God is doing a NEW thing, so I better sit here and wait on it, because it’s SO good and it’s gonna be with SO much supernatural speed, that if I bother with the simple basics of TODAY I might MISS it, and probably probably probably it’s a test and God wants me to PROVE I am willing to do nothing so He can do everything!”

And a million other equally convincing in the moment and sometimes even for a dangerous period of time afterwards thinkings along these lines.

If you’re not careful, if you don’t get systematic about putting on Christ daily and knowing that that ALWAYS means your being is already complete and yeahhhhhhhh girl there is work for TODAY to do, the devil will take what he comes for next when he can’t get your eternal destiny. 

Namely, your earthly one.

Let’s pull it back:

You are a leader.

You are a visionary.

God has positioned you in the Kingdom already in places where there are open doors which cannot be shut.

The work you are here to do, what you are here to carry and pour out, is MONUMENTAL. 

Your work, when you let it rightly flow through you, will open blind eyes to see. Cause deaf ears to hear. Move mountains. Change the atmosphere. Command the land you’ve been given to possess to bear fruit which multiplies supernaturally and is a match for HEAVEN.

Now let’s be clear, brutally:

Having a destiny does not mean you will ever live it.

Being born for it doesn’t mean you will.

Carrying something which most people would never even consider let alone want to have to reckon with, and which every fibre of your being longs to release and THEN some, doesn’t mean you ever will see it spring through.

Do you think that every person who came before you who was born for it did it?

Did every artist release their art, or even create it?

Did every writer ever write, let alone believe for it to have timeless life breathed into it?

Did every leader ever take a deep breath to BE the vessel and the voice God made them to be, rather than stay spinning in all the reasons why they’re not ready, or able?

Did every God-ordained prayer warrior and frontline fighter in the Kingdom bother to fight for their family or destiny for even a minute, let alone day in and day out UNTIL they saw the rains of righteousness fall?

They did not.

So why do you think you’ll be any different?

Oh, but where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty, and as many as are the children of God so too ARE led by the Spirit of God!

Yes. Your spiritual status is that you are led, favoured, surrounded, provided for, protected, God Himself will establish both your thoughts and the work which comes from those thoughts, and then on top of it He will bless your path, the one HE straightened and continually course corrects, even down to re-routing you back to alignment and YES every time you go off track or something meant for evil comes at you, AND He will supernaturally multiply all of it. All while gracing you with supernatural power and strength to do it!

BUT IF YOU DON’T GET YOUR BUTT INTO OR OUT OF THE CHAIR, MEANING TO WHEREVER IT IS YOU KNOW THAT BUTT IS MEANT TO BE, AND IF YOU DON’T SAY ‘LORD HERE AM I, SEND ME’, AND IF YOU DON’T SIMPLY OPEN YOUR FREAKING MOUTH OR PUT FINGERS TO THE KEYBOARD ANYWAY …

How is it going to happen?

Your spiritual status cannot become your earthly one without your agreement and your faith-step forward.

And before you start thinking at lightning speed again whilst still producing nothing but dead work and spiritual desk shuffling, 

No.

You can’t just springboard to already being there, in the place where you did today’s work today for every previous day.

GOD will restore your lost years. Believe Him for that! PROCLAIM it, as we should be proclaiming every good and right and prophetic thing He has shown!

But you?

You and me?

Today’s work today babe.

It’s not more complicated than that.

Wanna know what’s cool?

OH, how beautiful and wondrous and joy-filled it is to today’s work today! I LOVE it in this place! 

It is rewarding IMMEDIATELY. It carries overflow in every keystroke, every word, ever breath. It is a yes yes yes God is DOING it, and it is the place where when you are in it – the moment you are in it – you realise you finally just decided to be, and now?

You’re her.

There is a peace which comes from finally being planted in the now which IS the now.

Sure, the circumstances may not have leapt as of yet to where you were trying to hustle ‘em to be!

But all of a sudden you KNOW you are here. And seeing as how here is where you are. There you are.

Gorgeous –

You were there the whole entire time already.

You just had to stop trying to be.

And get to being Holy Spirit led diligent with what it would be if you already were.

So PICK UP THAT PEN. WRITE THE THING. SAY THE THING. PUT ONE LITTLE PIECE TOGETHER WITH ONE LITTLE MORE. Trust in the unfolding, and that it’s God who IS causing it.
