I WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WHEN I PUT MY FAITH IN GOD

“I will not be disappointed when I put my faith in God”.

Here is the message of the Lord today, for you AND (as always!) for me.

You will not be disappointed when you put your faith in God.

You will not walk in shame or “I told you you should have blah blah blah” when you place your trust in HIM.

Now listen to this:

The LITERAL location of the presence of the Lord is in your praises. (Psalm 22:30. Rejoicing in and praising Him should be your ALL DAY EVERY DAY lens. (Philippians 4:3).

This is a choice in your spirit, led and strengthened and equipped by HIS Spirit PS. Your mind and emotions and will don’t gotta get on board from the get go, and likely won’t!

But they WILL be subdued over time when you instruct them to be, and when you continue to hold steadfast to the truth of who God IS.

Speaking of –

If the literal location of the presence of God is in your praises …

If that is the place He INHABITS …

Then that is where you need to GO … in general, but in particular … when you feel stuck, scared, unsure, or in treachery of leaning on your own reason and a worldly strategy because you don’t feel you can afford to wait on the supernatural thang and you are QUESTIONING if God is even gonna show up for you!

Babe! HE IS SHOWN UP ALREADY. He is in the place where you PRAISE Him.

This could look like simply beginning to praise and worship, subduing your soul with words you sing and say directly FROM the word, intentionally coming into agreement with them as you do so; not just singing empty words,

and it could look declaring and also DECREEING truth of who God is. As once again you turn that big ole ship of your OWN mind freaking itself right out into an iceberg and back into the alignment and PEACE of the Lord and His certain rest, righteousness, blessing, covering, favour, and more.

You can say:

Lord I will trust you in __ no matter what.

I SAY I put my faith in you. I take it from (where it’s been; admit it!), and I place it rightly in you. I repent for putting faith in __ above you!

I will lean on YOU in this Lord.

I will be confident in you.

I say my God has a plan! He will deliver me. Right me. Align me. Favour me. Protect me in this. And then bless my path as I walk forward!

I will NOT be disappointed when I put my faith in Him.

I will sing of His praises all the days of my life because He IS faithful to perform what He promises, and His word NEVER returns void!

Holy Spirit Lord help me to never waver and ALWAYS diligently seek you first in all things!

Gorgeous I’m inspired today mainly from my reading in Psalm 22 … PLEASE go and note the anguish and wrestle of David in Psalm 22 before He gets to the stillness and calm and very well known ‘ahhhhhhhhhh’ of Psalm 23.

It’s not that God was not already BEING GOD before David chilled and saw His goodness.

It’s that we as humans just DO gotta go through that wrestle at times to get out of our own mind and back into God’s truth!

I’ve been doing it recently in an area where it’s been oh-so-tempting to lean on my own reason, and ‘deal with’ something which is bringing self-consciousness and impatience and also questions around the how right now.

Ah, it would be so easy to just ‘fix’ it!

But the whisper of God is that that would NOT be trusting Him. Waiting on Him. Expecting Him to take care of me AS HE ALWAYS DOES.

It’s dangerous to say to yourself, “oh, just this one time!”.

Because soon enough your way of life is fear of man + your own understanding + lack of diligence and discipline to wait on God which all = a lack of trust in God, which is unbelief, which is the greatest sin of all and which leads to death!

In one form or another,
it WILL lead to death.

Ya know?

So we have to … PHEW. Pull up. Pull the emergency cord. Take a deep breath again. And PICK UP OUR PRAISE FROM WHEREVER IT’S BEEN AT, then plant it back in the Lord again.

And we say “IF YOU’RE NOT WITH ME GOD THEN I’M NOT GOING”.

Meaning,

we gotta REFUSE to take action til it’s the God one.

“Oh, but maybe God meant I should – ?!”

NO babe. He did not.

He’d a said it and you’d a known it for SURE.

Listen.

It is our daily job as children of God to PUT ON CHRIST.

To remember and also STATE who God is and who we are in Him.

Do you know what you DO in the spirit realm when you declare “my God has got it, and I WILL not move til He causes the way!”?

You SHAKE things.
You cause satanic strongholds in your own mind and around you to TOPPLE.
You DETHRONE SATAN.

And all I’m saying is that maybe if you finally want to see things in your life operating a different way, a supernatural way, a GOD way …

Today is the day to break the pattern of the other.
