The women who the Lord has appointed,
for this time.
The women who He has clothed and will clothe in robes royal,
as you fully say “Lord I’m yours”.
These are the women who have been waiting in the wings.
Warring on the sidelines.
And are now ready,
to come forward.
Nervous.
Uncertain still, in some ways.
Yet absolute in the hope and assurance of the Lord.
This is for you, the woman who has long held a longing.
The woman whose tastes for the world simply keep fading.
The woman who no longer sees her calling as who it is she wants to be, once dreamed to be, really and truly thought she could be, but instead simply –
who it was the Lord made her to be.
This is for the woman who is aware there will be much to lay down.
Who is aware that what will be asked of her will be beyond what she can fathom.
Who is aware that there is a price she will pay with her time, her energy, her focus, her voice, its ability to shape this realm as it unlocks the heavenlies, who is aware that she does not remotely know that price but who is simply,
ready for it all.
This is for the woman who knows that even though all of that daunts her, and there are moments she wishes she could forego the call-which-won’t-reside, who at times would rather simply keep living her life, that what actually will happen?
And as she falls further
and further
and further
and faster
and faster
and faster
and relentlessly all the way into Him as He abides all the way through every part of her,
time will rearrange.
Reality will take new form.
The resources of heaven will be opened.
And the things she once the thought she had to concern herself with, ‘then God’,
will just be no more.
Because here is who this woman is, at her core, and who she is ready to be, now.
She is the one who knows she was born to rise rise rise and RISE for Him.
Who knows He has already set her in high places.
Who is done done DONE with floundering around in the miry clay He already freed her from.
And who recognises both the responsibility AND the call.
Does she waver at times? Sure.
But ultimately, and perhaps this is where you exhale and admit what you’ve been holding on to, trying to see otherwise,
in the end she always knew
it would come to this.
