Stop apologising for being you.
Stop making LESS than the fire which is actually IN you. The fire which in fact IS you.
Stop dialling back what you say.
How you say it.
Where you would dare to say it.
And, most of all, for the ACTUAL love of God stop reducing it in the place which matters most, which is in and to YOU.
If you can’t dare to take ownership WITHIN you of who you are, how God made you, what it just actually IS, and how the dream would look if you were truly walking it forward THIS very day, then it’s extraordinarily unlikely you will ever actually be the voice, vessel, gift, and WEAPON you were made to be in this world.
Oh, so you know you were born to change the world, lead and speak to nations, stand on platforms God Himself placed you on, pour forth a living breathing Holy Spirit fire and flow thing?
Yeah, well, how ’bout this:
Just because you have a destiny, it doesn’t mean you will ever live it.
You absolutely can be born for more, born for ALL of it – and you are – and yet you absolutely can simply never live it.
It’s excruciatingly hard.
To just decide, on repeat, to stare your destiny straight in the face and walk ALL in towards it, letting not a single excuse be raised higher than the vision God is growing in you.
It’s so much easier to numb out, opt out, or simply dial it back a little more a little more, all the while telling yourself you ARE doing something, you ARE showing up, just watch!
Yet feeling like your soul is being burned alive with what you’re keeping pent up in you.
It’s excruciatingly hard to just BE the person, relentlessly, intentionally, fully, except do you know what else?
It’s not that hard at all.
It’s EXCEEDINGLY simple.
Because EVERY single fear, doubt, resistance, and apparent inability to show up for your own life or stay bound in all the things distracting you is gone – POOF – the moment you just do it ANYWAY.
Don’t get me wrong.
This requires massive, unending, supernatural, GRACE.
But.we.have.that.
So in the end – and I mean this end, this bit right now, where you realise you need to decide NOW you’re at the end of all the reasons you can’t, or haven’t, or maybe shouldn’t – it’s just –
and then she just did.
And then I just DID.
Sometimes stepping all the way into the promised land requires a catalyst of dramatic proportions; something incredibly traumatic or alternatively wonderful occurring in your life. And all of a sudden you are propelled, bam, into your new one. The real one. The one you’ve always seen.
Sometimes the massive freakin’ catalyst is that you turned in circles enough times to realise there’s nothing else to figure out, know, or see, except for the fact that either you finally just did?
Or you continued to just not.
And that it was either today?
Or else it continued to be just not.
That’s all.
That’s all it’s ever been.
