PSA: TRUE HUMILITY MEANS SAYING YES TO ALLLLLLL OF IT!

God’s been speaking to me on this one for a while now.

You know when you ‘get’ something, nod your head yes to it, absolutely affirm and agree, because YES Lord I gettttttt it, but then He just keeps on comin’ at you with it again?

Yeah … I’m pretty one million percent certain that that means EITHER – there’s a message here to share, OR –

You might have got the memo girl, but you did not in fact action it.

In my case, in this case? Both.

And it’s weird, you know?

I’m such an all in person.

I LOVE to be told to go all in harder / faster / deeper / further, to the fullness of the vision.

I am all about the BIGGER than big dream with ZERO idea of how life!

As if I’m gonna NOT listen when God tells me to harness my faith more, step up BOLDLY more, insist (His direct words to me; also a match for His word in Isaiah 41:21!) on what He has put in me coming to life.

I’m the chomping at the bit let’s DO the thing girl! You too? RIGHT!

It’s just –

I’ve been busy.
SO much has been going on.
My focus and where it feels like I’m demanded, required, has been elsewhere.
I’ve felt stretched in a jillion pieces the last 5 weeks (and it has been a very intense 5 weeks while I’ve supported care-giving in my family and also had the gift and gracing of an extended visit from my parents).
I’ve been WANTING to, WAITING to, and definitely am GOING to, but I just haven’t.

You know what?

My reasons are real.

I’m sure yours are too.

Whether it’s excuses or very real reasons, they are in fact real.

And sometimes they’re also quite valid.

And yet.

And yet.

And yet.

What it comes down to, ALWAYS?

But do you know regardless that you’re meant to be doing the thing?

“Yes, and of course, and obviously, but it’s just – !”

No.

Do you know regardless that you’re meant to be doing the thing?

Phewwwwww this life is not for the faint-hearted hey?

But you know what else?

It’s also not for those who think they can remotely do it on their own terms, in their own strength, or also (and this is critical) through ANY KIND OF EARTHLY MEANS.

My first next prayer question to God yesterday after He hit me again with the need to grab hold fully, boldly, with certainty, of all He has put in me and to have a full and also insistent faith?

“Tell me what I need to know about time, God?”

PS.

It’s not like I haven’t asked this before, or that I don’t already know the answer! I am a BIG fan of insisting on supernatural time, space, and energy, when I don’t got it in the natural! However. I have to admit I tend to do this only when I feel realllllly stretched or incapable. As though it’s a back-up / activate only in case of emergency sort of sitch. Rather than an everyday ‘just how we get to be’ in God and indeed how we are INSTRUCTED to be sort of a thing.

Please read that again, or just this:

Every day is the day obedience looks like insisting on supernatural time, space, energy, wisdom, clarity, favour, and more!

Anything less?

Lack of faith.

Idolatry of self.

Hebrews 11:6 impossible to please God.

Also just … stooopid.

So what’s the answer?

On time.
On energy.
On know-how.
On actually being PERMEATED with the grace that is already yours.

PRESENCE.

The answer is PRESENCE.

It’s a very simple case of the more you feel you can’t afford to, don’t know how to, or just don’t wanna, the more you can’t afford NOT to go into His Presence and WAIT.

For how long?

Well, that’s obvious.

UNTIL YOU DON’T NEED TO ANYMORE.

Aka go so far in that you don’t come out anymore.
