Some of us were simply made for the edge.
Some of us were never gonna BE the person who would eventually slow down and settle down.
Doesn’t mean we won’t learn to walk in eternal surrender, rest, and the flow of a certain YES.
But we’re never gonna get to the bit where we just … stop.
This is not because (as we’ve at times thought) we have some kind of issue with continually driving ourselves to create, push, perform, or be.
The truth is that when it’s been or felt like an issue – “I need to just quit everything! I’m exhausted by continually pushing!” – what’s actually going on is we got sucked in to a counterfeit.
The devil’s got a plan for ya destiny too, you know, and he’ll absolutely go straight in with an attack on your most powerful characteristics, abilities, and gifts. Such that you end up convinced you actually should NOT be –
creating like that
showing up so much
always with a new thing
here, and then here, then here
- and instead apparently you should dial down your output, your expression, your message, your colour scheme while you’re at it, and definitely the whole bit about, oh, hang on, what was it again?
You being you.
Next minute you’re wondering why you’re somehow even MORE drained when you’re doing and trying for so much less!
Your gifts are there for the long haul baby, they’re not gonna go away. And the whole bit where something with you simply always sees and longs for MORE? What if it was coded right in the first place?
Just an idea.
Because here’s how it gets to be –
There is a gracing to you being you.
For some of us, more even than others (’cause this is in general true), what that ‘being’ looks like is an ever shifting, evolving, kaleidoscope sort of a thang.
Ya know?
Oh I KNOW you know.
For some of us, and this is DEFINITELY not most others … we do NOT need to slow down and breathe.
We need to wake up and live, and let the GLORY TO GOD ‘CAUSE HE PUT IT IN US BRIGHT CRAZY WONDERFUL PAINTBALL SNEAK ATTACK OF WHAT EVEN IS THAT COME OUT OF US.
Meaning –
WRITE the thing, then write some more
SAY the thing, and keep going
CREATE more
DANCE
LAUGH
WHIRL AND TWIRL INTO THE FRAY
And for the love of all God made you to be, stop buying into an idea that DOING,
comes at the expense of your being, or is something you need to somehow gradually opt out of.
The truth is that when we simply say yes,
and we surrender to being #poweredbygrace,
there is a rest, a flow, a pause, and OH such an exhale INHERENT to that output.
And while you may well have need of days of ‘actual’ nothingness …
and that absolutely is something women like us need to have a discipline around, often more than the discipline of the doing …
that doesn’t mean that where you should rightly be headed at this or any stage of your life is Slowdown Dullsville.

THE WORLD DOES NOT NEED ANOTHER PROPER ‘PRENEUR OR PREACHER.
And it sure don’t need a faded out version of you who is oh so so jaded by the endless pursuit of being a perfectly mediocre version of everybody ELSE.
It’s time to wake back up.

YOU’RE CHOOSING IT AGAIN WITH EVERY BREATH WHERE YOU AGREE THAT YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO BE.
And frankly it would be just lovely for all of us if you simply snapped back to front on face the world through the lens God uniquely gave YOU.

Are you –
- Fed up with constantly turning in circles and changing your mind on what you obviously need to do or be
- Continually overwhelmed or uncertain, with occasional moments of excited clarity shining through and then you take action but it quickly fades once more into bleeeeugghhh / I’m not sure
- Questioning yourself endlessly about what season you’re really in with your biz or ministry, and infuriated equally by the inaction which comes from that but also the fact that – you are not a woman who gets stuck in uncertainty! Seriously!
- DETERMINED to switch flick back to ‘then she just did mode’, but at times wonder if you’ve even lost it … never had it … yet deep down you know you ARE born for such a time as this, for all the more God has put inside of you, and that you sure aren’t gonna let the devil condemn you out of your destiny any longer
- Bored with being bored by what you’re doing, and know there is SOMETHING which would just pour out of you if only you’d see it right now!
- Ready to identify, lock in on, praise God for, and run run run by grace with that something and ultimately with the gracing that is on you being YOU!
And most of all …
Just at a point where it would sure be nice to get your butt kicked into simple flow-based action and momentum which comes from connecting once more to your God-given identity and gifts, kicking fear and doubt to the curb where they belong, and DECIDING …
THEN SHE JUST DID.
4 weeks. You and me and an equally decisive group of your fellow purpose-driven gals who know that NOW is the time. To grab a hold of what it really gets to be in THIS season, and simply BE the outpouring once more.
This is not the place where we slow down, simmer down, and settle into the one endless train tracks of what you’re apparently meant to do or be like the rest of the world.
This is for the woman who understands that rest and surrender in God is not contradictory to allowing ALL the flow and fire inside of her to come out and to burn burn burn the way that is unique to her.
Ladies! We have GOT to stop questioning if we are –
too much
too all over the place
too brightly coloured or edgy, visually or otherwise
too loud
too choppy and changy
should be more spiritual at this point
if we’re doing something wrong if everything out of our mouths doesn’t match whichever people group we’ve now decided are ‘it’ (quit the idolatry, and btw it is RIFE in the godly world!)
Maybe,
just maybe
God didn’t make you to carefully and discreetly sit just so in order to blend with all that other gals.
Maybe the way YOU move from here to here and here
splashing paint and colour and noise everywhere
seeing things and yes also SAYING them in a way that makes NO sense to the people who are NOT for you …
is the way to once more say yes to, and baby LET THE FILTER BE WHAT HE PUT IN YOU POURED OUT THROUGH YOU BEING YOU
Otherwise you’re just another person trying to share a message of TRUTH through a container of DEATH, bc let me tell you there is no life in you trying to squish down or contain the way it is meant to and also only CAN come through you.
In this 4 weeks together we will:
Laugh, cry, rent, vent, wail and CELEBRATE the fullness of who you actually are and how it comes out of you.
We’ll be tearing off false identity, throwing fear, doubt and uncertainty to the curb, listening to and hearing directly from the source (Holy Spirit!) on GOD’S truth about the full vibrancy of who you are, discarding myopic viewpoints of which niche or industry or apparent way of being you’ve got yourself stuck into only seeing yourself as, coming back to the full kaleidoscope beauty wonder and WOW of you being all of you, REDEFINING your vision, missive, manifesto, and MESSAGE in a way I promise will excite and delight you back to that joy joy joy of creating, creating new offers for your NOW, giving your socials and other online stuff a rocket fuel up the behind kick back to truth, having FUN again, and basically just FALLING IN LOVE ANEW WITH THE FACT THAT YOU GET TO BE YOU!

It simply will not do that if you continue to try and ensure it dances to the beat of whichever doubt, trigger, or counterfeit aspiration is distracting you.
It also will not do that if the lens you’re looking through each day is ‘how do I make sure I be and do and freakin’ breathe right’.
