This could explain the exhaustion –
The pursuit for perfect will kill you.
It will destroy your dreams, distort your destiny, derail you from purpose, and ultimately have you living under a relentless pressure to BE.
Yeah … we all thought we were so evolved way back when we figured out it’s about the doing and not the being, but did you catch the bit where you started to act as though your BEING was a bar you had to meet and never could?
Or are you still living under that and you just didn’t quite notice, because at some point a million moments ago it became ‘of course’.
Of course I still have more to do in order to prove I AM.
Of course I’m not there yet.
Of course I’m not her yet.
Of course I probably missed a step.
Of course I’m just one magical revelation away from figuring out that missing piece which will finally let me rest, breathe, BE!
Here’s a thought:
Who you are, like ACTUALLY are, is paving the way for who you’re gonna be next.
Which means that if you refuse to let now you be who she actually is … you won’t even give her the time of day to live basically …
you’re killing tomorrow you with every breath you take.
Creating a cycle of exhaustion whereby you’ve ALREADY FAILED AT WHAT’S COMING.
Because how can you possibly ever succeed if the rules are that you’re still not being right?
Meanwhile you spend every waking moment dutifully figuring out and striving to do, so that you can erm … be.
But what if what you wanted to create, put out there, live for, give NOW were the thing?
Just – the thing.
Not the thing to adjust.
Not the thing to improve (that’ll happen anyway as you actually be you).
Not the thing to triple to gajillionty times to infinity and back check in case it’s not actually right, aligned, purposeful, YOU.
And for my God girls, not the thing to question worriedly as to whether or not it’s God or you, because guess what … if He’s in you He IS leading you, His Spirit is in your spirit, which is where your intuition is, so if it is a yes in YOU, that’s Him!
Boy oh boy do we do a good number on ourselves though, hey?
One might even say – a perfect number!
So at there’s that
And now also this:
Breathe gorgeous, BREATHE.
Listen.
In the silent.
And the still.
What is ACTUALLY bubbling out of you?
What do you ACTUALLY feel a pull to, or no?
And what would you ACTUALLY do right now,
if ‘am I there yet / am I doing it right’ had never been on the table, and never could be?
Just a thought.
Remember –
Life is Now. Press Play!
