I had a moment of deflatedness, one of those ‘I’m so far from where I want to be and from what God has put inside of me’ moments which can so easily trip into a ‘what’s the point of showing up’ moment, and before I even finished PROCESSING that thought, God showed up:
“Show up for the movement I’ve given you”, He said.
“Show up for what you already know I’m creating through you”.
I saw the vision once again, FLASH, in the blink of an eye, for Warrior Daughters Rising, and all that He has called me to.
The truth is it feels heavy.
SO big.
Like there are a million kajillion things to do, and where to even start?
I wrote a post in 2014 called ‘Frozen in Overwhelm’, and I think of that post often when I feel like this. My vision is so big that I can’t possibly do anything, because aughhh – ! I’ll never complete it all or even get 1% through what I want to do today!
It’s a lie.
It’s a trap of the devil to derail God’s called ones from their destiny, from being the integral part of the Kingdom of Jesus they are called to be, and babe by anointed ones, called ones, I MEAN YOU AND I.
A better question, one God gave me yesterday as I looked down the barrel of the day and thought about how impossible it was to accomplish all that is in me, is “God what do YOU have to say about this?”
Try it.
“God what do YOU have to say about where I’m at right now with my business?”
“God what do YOU have to say about what this day is for?”
“God what do YOU have to say about whether what I see inside of me, what I’ve seen again and again when I look to you, is real?”
What you will find He will say is, always, something He already said.
His ways are higher.
Lean not on your own understanding.
It’s not what you see or think, it’s what He said.
If He gave vision for it He already gave provision for it.
There’s nowhere He’s taking you which you can get to without grace, so why are you even with fussing about how YOU will get there or keep up with it all? Nobody asked you to!
Nobody except the world and every wile within it, at least.
Sister in Christ, we HAVE to keep looking to Jesus.
We have to cling to Him so desperately there’s not even room for a sliver of our own ideation to get between us.
We have to seek Him for the fear of the Lord to not even CONSIDER trying to build a thing without Him, or in order to make sure we position ourselves.
“For those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength, they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not grow faint!”.
Isaiah 40:31, possibly written with a few sections jumbled as I’m flowing now and didn’t stop to check.
He will cause us to be lifted up, by grace, for His purposes.
Only in Him can we accomplish what He purposed for us to, as His walking word!
And boy oh boy is it the hardest thing ever though to operate FROM that heavenly vision when our filter is our own ability or idea of what’s true.
If I look through my own lens, I’m so far from where I want to be and know God is calling me to be that it can feel pointless.
I start assessing whether or not I should show up on fire based on measurements or particulars of business or ministry or life which God never said to look at.
WRONG VISION.
But when I look to God again, I can see that I’m already exactly where He has placed me.
That the movement, for Warrior Daughters Rising, the Academy for Women Who Burn, and everything else He has given me, is already right there within me, in Him.
It’s already REAL.
He already WROTE it.
And so I will once more BELIEVE it.
And show up like I know who I am and whose I am, and that He is walking me into it, for you, by Him, for His glory, THROUGH Him, Amen!

Habakkuk, which we all love to quote, says write the vision and make it plain, so that whoever reads it may run with it, and though it might tarry (seem delayed) it will not tarry (actually be delayed!).
But did it ever occur to any of us that the writing of a vision is us speaking out and walking forward in our LIFE?
We are the walking word of Jesus.
Lord may we write plain with our lives today the vision you have given us.
