Your time of being silent is over.
Your time of hiding in the shadows? Done.
Your time when it was appropriate and needed, heaven ordained, for you to wait? Yeah it’s not that time anymore.
Hear this if it’s for you:
You’re going to have to get up and confess with your mouth that you will now OPEN that mouth and start to let out what God has given you to speak out.
You’re going to have to decide that you will do so consistently, until the uncomfortable sticky NOT flow bit passes.
And then you’re going to have to decide that you will keep going when it turns out that there’s actually always another uncomfortable sticky bit to go through at SOME point.
Has God given you vision?
Have you sat with Him and let Him show it to you, let more and more be revealed?
Do you keep on coming back to the same exact knowing again and again, each time perhaps a different angle but all in all the very same call?
Has He been stirring in you for some time now the knowing that it’s GO time, that you are that sent one, and that the silent season is over?
Do you have an almost endless stream of things provoking your spirit to speak into, write into, preach on, uncover the layers of, teach on or share to others, and yet the stream just keeps streaming and somehow you’re still almost stock still?
Stop being silent.
It’s actually that simple.
Open your mouth, and begin.
Put fingers to keyboard, and begin.
Start that new page, and begin.
Write the vision and make it plain, and begin.
Ask God for the one next action to take, and begin.
Treat it as though you truly believe it’s real, because what you’ve seen in the spirit IS, and begin from the place of it’s already a done deal that this thing is gonna have LIFE, because you know what already has life and comes signed sealed and delivered with it?
Anything you received from the Lord.
Close your eyes.
PRAY, and when you do so, be sure to not only talk but also to be still. Wait. And know once more He is God, revealing to you once more what He made you for.
Where is He calling you to speak or otherwise say a thing right now?
Is there a starting point He is giving you? (There always is, even if it’s one we don’t understand or think is ‘it’)
What do you just know then, that it’s time for?
And can you just … do that? By the grace of God who has shown it to you to do and therefore resourced you to be ABLE to do?
I know it’s not easy, living a life where we continually lay down our own understanding and walk by faith into who knows what’s next!
But it’s not HARD.
Not when you compare it with the hard of once again going to bed at night knowing you stayed silent and passive because it felt more real than deciding to grab hold of a life which doesn’t exist yet but you chose to have wild enough faith for it anyway.
Don’t let another day pass by in which you KNOW what you’re called for yet take no action because you’re dancing with the lie that you don’t.
