Sometimes you just have to rip the bandaid.
But not usually the way people think.
If you’re in business, and it’s been more than a minute, you hopefully have accepted by now that things not always ‘working’ is not always a reflection on you having somehow missed something.
You can’t HAVE the ascension in any area without the descension, recognition of, miry quick-sandy bit, surrender into DEEPER faith, and then receiving.
Which means that if you want to actually be ‘next level’ … and you MEAN that; it’s not just an expression you bobble-headed your pretty little head to …
by definition you need to descend again.
Layer upon layer, baby. It’s the only way to actually go deeper.
Honestly, for a lot of people just understanding that it DOESN’T MEAN YOU SUCK when once again you find yourself in the wilderness, not really ‘feeling’ it, questioning everything, or somehow just devoid of joy despite apparently doing what you’re meant for, would change EVERYTHING.
Unfortunately, being human and all, most of the time when things start gettin’ murky, we freak out and BATTEN DOWN OUR HATCHES FURTHER into the thing that was already not working!
We ASSUME fault.
We ASSUME that anything other than the flying high bit means something is WRONG.
And we don’t even consider that maybe this is an INVITE back into creativity,
flow,
joy,
and the things we actually came here to be and pour out in the first place!
Imagine if next time you really found yourself stuck in it – whether it was an income thing, a ‘stuff clicking’ thing, or just an inner YOU thing – you just …
got curious.
And maybe asked yourself –
asked God to reveal in you –
“where is there an opportunity right now to simply drop back into the love of the game?”
See if you take your eyes off whichever markers you’ve made God, you might actually SEE God in the details of what is brimming inside of you now.
For this to work though, you need to be willing to acknowledge that thinking the game is the effective pursuit of MORE is a trap, always a trap, and only a trap.
You got stuck on the wrong chessboard babe.
You came to pour out a thing.
Create.
Explore.
Experience.
And whirl and twirl in the unfolding of what God gave you to carry, which you and ONLY you can bring to life in a particular way, and somehow it bit by bit became about ‘am I doing it right?’
Questioning and judging yourself at every turn for not pricing yourself right, not building right, not automating right, heck, not doing your brand visuals right. It’s The Stepfordpreneur Horror Show and you’re the freaking star!
Thing is,
and there’s nothing wrong with being a person whose creative outflow IS tracking and measuring numbers, I know and adore people just like that,
for some of us the outcomes –
monetary and otherwise –
and I dare to say this is true even FOR those numbers peeps –
were always just something that should be assumed.
Expected.
Given gratitude for, absolutely.
But KNOWN as an obvious … byproduct. Of walking in faith in being you.
PS this STILL doesn’t mean you can bypass ups and downs!! Unless you wanna stay stuck on level a decade ago of being you I’d just get past that one NOW!
What it does mean is STOP ATTACHING BEING YOU TO WHAT IT SHOULD GET YOU.
Say YES to the outcomes you see within.
Activate them by faith from the spirit realm to this one (Hebrews 11:1 + 3).
Then take the faith ONLY action in front of you, the way it is SHOWN in front of you.
Not the ‘make it make sense’ way. (Prov 3:5-6).
So how do you rip the bandaid?
Babe, it’s a simple exit stage left.
Open your eyes.
Realise you’ve made it about what it was never actually about and that you don’t DANCE FOR PEANUTS for something which is already yours.
And start playing the game that actually excites your spirit and is RIGHT in that place where only you and God speak.
Ruthlessly ignore all rules of business / ministry / purpose / money which would derail you from this. If they didn’t come from faith in what is shown for YOU, they’re straight evil.
That’s it.
Also?

This really resonated—especially the part about descension being necessary for true ascension. It’s such a powerful reminder that the ‘stuck’ moments aren’t failures, but invitations to go deeper in faith and creativity. Shifting the perspective from self-blame to curiosity changes everything.
I’ve been stuck in that ‘batten down the hatches’ mode lately, thinking harder work would fix everything. This post reminded me to pause and ask what’s actually trying to emerge instead.
Love this reminder that being in the wilderness doesn’t mean you’re lost—it might just mean you’re in transition. Getting curious instead of panicked when things stall feels like such a gentle, faithful shift.
I love the idea that the ‘wilderness’ isn’t a punishment but an invitation. It totally reframes how we experience those murky, uncertain moments and reminds me that descent is often part of the ascent.
Thanks for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more from this post. I’m very glad to see such magnificent information being shared freely out there.
ThisBlog Comment Creation really hit home—the reminder that being in a ‘wilderness’ season doesn’t mean we’ve failed, but might actually be part of the process of going deeper. I love the idea of getting curious instead of tightening control when things feel off. It’s such a powerful reframe that opens the door to grace and creativity.
I am impressed with this website , real I am a fan.
Such a great reminder that growth isn’t always linear. Sometimes, those wilderness moments are exactly what we need to dive deeper and reconnect with our purpose.
I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is needed to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100 positive. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it

Blog comment creationI love how you reframe those ‘stuck’ moments as an invitation rather than a failure. It’s such a powerful reminder that descending into uncertainty can actually create the space for deeper faith and fresh creativity. Next time I feel that wilderness creeping in, I’ll try to lean into curiosity instead of scrambling to fix things that don’t need fixing.
We absolutely love your blog and find a lot of your post’s to be exactly I’m looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content for yourself? I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome blog!

You have mentioned very interesting points! ps nice site.
An interesting discussion is value comment. I think that it’s best to write extra on this topic, it might not be a taboo topic but generally people are not sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
You are a very clever person!

I’ve found that moments of feeling ‘stuck’ or unsure are actually opportunities for self-discovery and creativity. Getting curious instead of immediately assuming something is wrong feels like such a healthier approach to growth.
This resonated deeply with me because it’s so easy to mistake stagnation for failure, but your reminder that descent is often necessary for ascension is truth I needed to hear right now. It’s not about being perfect or constantly flying high—it’s about staying curious and trusting the process, even when it feels like we’re falling. Thanks for the gentle push to reframe what feels like a dead end as a deeper beginning.
Thank you for your sharing. I am worried that I lack creative ideas. It is your article that makes me full of hope. Thank you. But, I have a question, can you help me?
This resonated deeply with me because it’s so easy to mistake stagnation for failure, but your reminder that descent is often a prerequisite for deeper ascension is exactly what we need to hear. It’s not about being stuck—it’s about being invited to go deeper, and that shift in perspective can be life-changing.
This resonated deeply with me—especially the part about how the ‘descension’ isn’t a sign of failure but a necessary step toward deeper alignment. It’s easy to mistake silence for stagnation, but when we lean into the discomfort with curiosity instead of fear, that’s often where the real breakthrough happens. Thanks for reminding us that the wilderness isn’t the enemy—it’s the teacher.
