You were not made for small.
There’s no point spending another year or three going back and forth on whether or not you maybe made it all up and what God really wants for you is the hidden mouth shut life, because at this point you KNOW:
You were not made for small.
What is in you?
Who you are?
BORN.TO.SHINE.
At a certain point you really have to just accept that this is how it is.
BUT.
This does NOT mean you are meant to live your life in pursuit of making said shine happen. Building a structure for said shine to beam out of. Or in ANY way being focused endlessly on the growth of … dare I say … BUSINESS.
Yeah, I’m saying it.
High level creative entrepreneurs who have a living breathing moving thing inside of them which is meant to come out fresh and new each DAY in some kind of way …
should not be focused on building business.
In fact doing so will destroy you. Derail you. And all but kill your destiny dead. At least until you wake up and REMEMBER WHO YOU ALWAYS WERE.
Think about this. As I said on an initial client call this morning. With a woman who has made the MONIES, and then some. Yet is staring down the barrel of ‘is this all there is’, and ‘I want something WILDER, FLOWING, FREE’. Which is to say … most of my clients over the years.
What would the vision be right now if everything you’ve already built, known, or think that it SHOULD be were surgically removed, supernaturally, and you DIDN’T EVEN KNOW IT WAS AN OPTION.
Would it be there?
In what you see inside of you?
Would you even CONSIDER it?
If yes, AWESOME. It’s there in the place it’s time to walk forward to so WALK ON FORWARD.
But if it’s not …
If the truth is you’d never even think of it …
Do you really want to keep living a life bound to who you were yesterday?
Do you actually fundamentally believe that this is required in order for you to become who it’s time to be?
Or do you deep down suspect what I can assure you is TRUTH, which is that the thing you see inside of you?
IT HAS FULL LIFE IN AND OF ITSELF.
Because whatever the vision, dream, desire, God has put in you NOW might be …
it does not require YOU draggin’ in yesteryear in order to prop it up, oh and also?
It does not require you to be the one who figures out how.
But here is what I suspect it does require. ALWAYS.
For those of us who are born messengers. Creators. The wild ones who were not MADE to be contained. Who need to be left alone for however long it takes in our mad professor studio, until we once more emerge ready to face the world, bleary eyed and not even quite sure what just happened yet KNOWING it was a good thing, a God thing, a YES thing.
SPACE, baby girl.
SPACE.
OODLES of it, too.
Which is why the whole build / scale / automate the living daylights out of / grow a team and become CEO of the world approach to business is just … NO.
Lemme tell you that as somebody who has coached and mentored SUPER high performing leaders for years now, across just about every industry imaginable, that even those who make TENS of millions per year and who are at their core creatives first and foremost …
ultimately strip it all back to minimal team.
Minimal planning.
Minimal to no proper-making.
And once again just being the mad creative genius doing their thang, usually with a couple of peeps supporting that and an ABSOLUTE willingness to change tracks in a heartbeat if something is no longer the vibe.
YES you can create big wealth and big impact without corporatising your genius.
In fact, I’d recommend it.
Now look.
I’m not saying don’t have systems. Automation. Team. Etc.
What I AM saying is …
don’t do it at the cost of YOU.
And the space you need to continue to BE you.
And for the love of God, don’t do it in a way which marries you to now having to be such and such guru when in fact you are YOU. Made to whirl and twirl in every day fresh wonder. Every day a new dance with God!
The simple approach to business growth, for entrepreneurs like us?
1) EXPECT it to grow, because you see it inside of you
2) Say yes on repeat to the vision
3) CONSISTENT space to see said vision properly
4) TRUCKLOADS of space to dream and ponder and allow what’s in you to come out in its own sweet time
5) TEENY bit of time and space (10-20% of whatever you have available, and ONLY once the dreaming and creating is done) for the proper-lady things. Or proper-dude things.
That is all.
NOW GO UNLEASH YOUR MADNESS AGAIN.
