I sat with the Lord this morning, went straight into vision with God the Father after my Bible time, and as I sat with Him in stillness for a moment He showed me how real it is that I am seated alongside Him, in heavenly places, in Christ.
I got the sense He was saying “you need to really BE here. Your status is that you are seated in heavenly places to my right hand, in Jesus, but you need to really BE here, daily, and see what is true from this place”.
I thought about how easy it is, how much of a default it is, `to just go ahead and create our own day, our way. Seeing ‘real’ the things of this world, and inadvertently elevating them above the Name and truth of Jesus!
I heard God say to me – “you can go and DO to create, Kat, or you can speak forth and see created through me what is in you.”
Have you stopped recently to think about how for real it is that God has given us life and death in the power of the tongue?
That Hebrews 1 says He upholds the UNIVERSE with the power of His words, and that since we ARE His walking word we have the ability to do that also? In fact we have the responsibility, and in fact we are already doing it one way or the other!
Boy oh boy. If we don’t stop to drop in and really BE in heavenly places, if we don’t take SO seriously the responsibility and ability to declare what will be and know that our words ALWAYS supersede our actions in terms of what will occur in and through us, we are doing the equivalent of having a brand new Rolls, unhooking the engine (is that a thing?), and pushing it around town ourselves. BUT WORSE.
My soul BURNS right now, my spirit is OVERFLOWING right now, with an urgency around this.
We have the power of words in Jesus Name and our words are shaping our lives NOW.
Whether it’s laziness, a lack of fear of the Lord, trained apathy, or straight unbelief (all of the above), we need to STOP AFFORDING TO DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN DECLARE WHAT WILL BE, by the leading of the Spirit of God in us, before we move a MUSCLE to try and DO.
Our doing should overflow from our being, and our being is found in Him.
We need to find it daily.
How long for?
AS LONG AS IT TAKES EACH DAY TO ONCE AGAIN KNOW WE ARE FLOWING FROM THE THRONE ROOM OF HEAVEN.
Often multiple times per day.
This morning I ended up writing 3 pages of declarations God gave me, straight from the throne room, prophecy and decree was part of it, and THAT is what will unfold in my life. By grace, by HIM, because I wrote and spoke it from Him!
That is more real than a lifetime of days of doing could ever be.
My DOING will now unfold FROM WHAT IS ALREADY WRITTEN, SPOKEN, SIGNED OFF ON, AND COMING INTO BEING AS I SPEAK. In fact my doing is coming FROM the fact of it already being on route from the heavenlies, express post!
So here is my encouragement today:
Before you go and do all day.
Or out of overwhelm and fatigue NOT do, and feel guilty and condemned about it.
Be still and know that He is God again.
And open your mouth sister.
There is power waiting to come out of it, and to shape and command the very atmosphere around and through you, for the glory of the King.

Girl, enough with low-key-ing the vision God has given you, and enough with waiting for it to just ‘happen’, and enough with being anything other than all in CRAZY faith determined to walk in agreement and right expectation of the FULLNESS of what Jesus died for you for to come through in the work He has given you to do!
If you are called to nations, ANSWER the call.
If you are here to speak to millions, ADMIT it and start walking it out by faith.
If you KNOW you’re meant to steward huge amounts of wealth for the Kingdom, CRUSH YOUR FLESH BENEATH YOUR FEET and get on with it.
Amen?
We can not afford, as the daughters who are called to rise and ROAR for Jesus through our business, ministries, work, to do anything less than BE that walking roar.
That is what Women Who Burn is about.
And He has equipped ME to equip YOU for all of it.
