When the moment is quiet and still, you’re not sure where to go, where to start, which way to turn, or if you even know ANYTHING,
at all,
the Lord is there.
Guiding you.
Revealing to you.
Patient for you.
ALWAYS for you.
And with food for you,
which is not of this realm.
Do you know?
God has instruction for you today.
God has revelation for you today.
God wants to speak to you today.
JESUS
is right here for you today.
When the day is heavy. Filled with ideas, and thoughts, and shoulds. There’s so much to do it’s IMPOSSIBLE to start – !
God is there too.
His Holy Spirit just waiting,
to cause you to see.
“Come my child,
this is where to be.”
I honestly don’t know why I would ever again open my laptop … pick up a thing … do a thing … or attempt to BE a thing …
without first asking “Lord,
what would you have me do?”
When I asked it just now,
hours of this day still looming ahead of me, appointments all complete and so a simultaneous exhale around all the SPACIOUSNESS and possibility,
coupled with an INHALE in preparation for the very many things I could do, should do, likely WON’T do, and how already, in THAT moment – “it’s too much and now I don’t want to do anything!” –
He answered immediately.
“What shall I do Lord?”
“Be my voice.”
And so here I am once more.
Picking up my pen once more.
Putting fingers to keyboard once more.
With no CLUE once more,
what I will write,
what I will say,
whether it will matter,
or have ANY impact today or ever,
and yet
I just say yes.
Life in Christ is incredibly sweetly simple.
Look to Him until you see nothing else,
say yes to what you see.
