Why don’t you simply do what you know to do even though you’ve ALMOST convinced yourself you don’t know at all?
The truth is that what you have inside of you is real
It is there for a reason
Your knowledge and background is MEANT to be part of the now picture
And your voice matters
So whether it’s a simple exhale as you get back to picking up a pen you feel you’ve picked up 1000x and are maybe done with yet the truth is it’s part of who you are and nobody said you had to put your emotions in the drivers seat …
or it’s a deeper breath as you take that first bambi-on-ice step forward in something you’ve never done before, resisted or procrastinated on for years, or are terrified you’ll flop at …
You can.
I guess what we need to bring it back to sometimes is this –
What’s the alternative, hm?
We’re not talking about the needed pause and rest and stepping back which is also part of the ebb and flow for leaders, creatives, and hi, humans.
We’re talking about the fact that for as long as you’re here on this earth you WILL need to contend for God’s promises in your life.
You WILL need to surrender and lay down your carnal daily.
You WILL need to put ON God’s truth, Christ, and the assignment He gives you in that.
This is real life! This is not for the faint-hearted! No, you’re not going to ever get to the bit where you are done with resistance! Mostly it is showing the way!
So stop trying to find a way round the very real spiritual battle we operate in, INCLUDING the daily battle for our destiny to have life breathed into it.
And if you think I’m dramatising –
Why care at all about whether you share that thing inside of you or not? If you don’t believe it literally carries life or death?
I don’t know who told you that it was meant to be about what you FEEL like,
but it never was and never will be.
