When you are weary.
When you feel so disjointed, you don’t know whether you’re here, or there, some other place, or even if you are ANY place,
at all.
You don’t know what to do.
Not sure where to find the flow.
Things you were excited about, certain about, God gave you a DREAM about now feel like they’re floating far far away, for another time, another day, and maybe another person and meanwhile YOU are just that one who keeps striving and missing it, I want you to know that you’re not alone,
it’s SO not just you,
and you may very well be closer to your breakthrough than what you’ve ever been or could possibly know.
So with an assumption of pending GOOD, because you have a certainty that GOD is good, and that your status as His daughter is FAVOURED FAVOURED FAVOURED BLESSED EQUIPPED ANOINTED AND GRACED RIGHT WHERE YOU’RE PLACED, let’s just return,
to that.
Now listen.
And we’re gonna hit some home-truths hard for a second.
Getting a hold of the things which are for you in this life takes aggressive and relentless persistence, a lot more of the time than what you realise.
YES we are designed to operate from rest in God, leaning on His strength and might, but there is an INSISTENCE which comes in and from a foundation in that, which is required.
Every day. Every day you need to get up and grab hold of the Kingdom.
Every day. Every day you need to bind whatever forces of the enemy are coming at you and yours. Some days you need to go harder on the deliverance side of things than simply binding.
Every day. Every day you need to armour up per Ephesians 6.
Every day. Every day you need to declare who you are in God, what your status and right standing is as His child, and that you have the every more sanctified mind of Christ.
Every day. Every day you need to PUT ON CHRIST, which means also LAY DOWN YOU. All of you. Your own desires. Your fears. Your distractions. Ailments. And the curiously treacherous grief of never QUITE being where you think you should be,
and wondering when you will.
Every DAY you need to pick up the weapons God has given you and go to war in the spirit realm in order to SEE HIS KINGDOM COME.
Every day. Every DAY you need to declare, decree, prophesy life over your own life and where ever God leads you.
Every day. Every DAY you need to surrender to the Spirit of God and confess “your way not mine Lord, MAKE your presence known in and through me”.
Every day. Every day you need to CHOOSE LIFE AND SPEAK IT INTO BEING, in all areas OF your life and often on repeat until it rises up from your spirit and comes out of you like the MIGHTY mighty roar He designed you to be.
I’m preaching to myself too. I hope you know!
Is this too much? Too extreme? Over the top?
Cool, go live the basic Christianity life of not remotely being a walking reflection of Christ and one day-ing everything which was already given to you by saying ‘if it be God’s will it’ll happen’, whilst being COMPLETELY disobedient about how He told us to live and to call into being what is not, while cursing to the grave what SHOULD not.
And think about this:
All of what I just listed out, if you’re not actively doing and living in, you’re doing whatever the COUNTER part to that is, by virtue of your untamed tongue and thoughts speaking and re-creating death every which you turn, on repeat coming into agreement with satan and not God, and living in a delusion that if God wants you to rise up as a warrior in the Kingdom and command the atmosphere in and beyond your own life He’ll bop you over the head and make it happen.
Girl, we are not called to wait for a Saul to Paul moment to step up.
I pray He DOES bop you over the head and even STILL you’ll have to choose and keep on choosing.
You get Paul did this too, right? You get he learned to find the joy of the Lord in the ongoing persecution of the life he CHOSE in God and kept on choosing.
You are equipped right now so much more than what you realise.
Maybe your thing isn’t selling right now.
Your ideas are losing their spark before they even get out the gate.
Things are TOUGH at home.
Your soul is weary.
Or you just find yourself on repeat submitting to hopelessness, sadness, tiredness, and grief, as a result of which you spend your time flopping around instead of declaring and decreeing what should be according to God’s word, because you made your emotions or circumstance the book you live by.
I’ve been there.
With all of it.
I know what it’s like to feel like it’s all largely pointless anyway. To be swimming in despair or just an endless case of the ‘can’t quite get going’ doldrums.
Can I tell you?
The everything you’re searching for honestly is on the other side of get past YOU and get on with it anyway.
It’s in the monotony or discipline of just beginning with the repeat thing you are here to do.
It’s in DECIDING once more that yes you are she. The chosen one by God Himself. The cherished and treasured one. The one He set apart. The one He has lifted up. The one who is graced right now where she is placed! The one for whom the Lord Himself has a plan, a good one, for hope, and a future!
And it’s in CHOOSING to cast down the thoughts and imaginations which are oh so clearly not of God.
YES this is hard, so hard sometimes! But only in the same way it’s hard to DECIDE to get your butt to the gym sometimes.
So whatever the spiritual equivalent is right now for you of putting your gym clothes out the night before then chucking ’em on in the morning before you get to thinking, DO THAT.
You have GOT this sister.
God’s goodness, and the victory of Jesus, does not exclude you!
Stand UP sister. WAKE up. RISE up. Know you are LIFTED up. And now OPEN YOUR VOICE AND ROAR.
You are the daughter of the KING.
You are born for MORE.
You are RIGHT now where He has placed you for such a time as this.
He IS your provider.
He IS your financier.
His angels are waiting to bring you His equipping for you.
He is in you and He is the KEY TO THE ENTIRE KINGDOM!
YOU. Need to DECIDE again. BELIEVE again. ACCEPT again. And curse to the ground in the Name of Jesus again EVERY weapon formed against you because it SHALL NOT PROSPER.
GORGEOUS, the hard bit is just choosing to enter in!
So spit out the soil of despair with me. Gather up and hock up out of your mouth the fruit of hopelessness. YOU, yes YOU, are needed right now.
Make your asks.
Make your please.
Get on your knees.
Release your DECREES.
EXPECT HIS RIGHT GUIDANCE.
And get on with assignment today like you know WHO you are and WHOSE you are.
I don’t know what else you want to do.
What else you would choose to do.
In despair.
In sadness.
In frustration.
Or grief.
But as always,
it’s up to you,
and either way,
you’re write speak thinking something true.
