The problem is you keep trying to be there.
Your life is ticking down the drain precisely because you’re terrified it’s going to tick down the drain and living with an idea that if only you could get on track RIGHT NOW IMMEDIATELY, you’d be okay. Good enough. Able to breathe. Or even BE.
The truth is you are losing your life by REFUSING to lose your life.
First and foremost to Jesus, because without Him you have no life and in Him you have eternal life, and life abundantly (John 3:16, John 10:10).
And secondly you need to start losing your life to each and every moment in front of you and what it is actually and also ONLY for.
No you can’t make up today in a heartbeat for the life you didn’t live, the body you didn’t take care of, the business you didn’t build, the consistency that wasn’t there, the relationships you didn’t nurture, the diligence that should have been there yet wasn’t.
Stop trying to!
Stop letting another day pass in which you don’t actually live THIS day, because you’re desperate to force your way to being whoever you think you already should be!
This is a message of HOPE.
Because the truth is that when you let go of all the stuff you could or perhaps should have done or been, you’re able to be right here where you ARE,
and thus say yes to what is now to come.
Let’s take business, sharing a message, being the voice you were born to be.
No you can’t just somehow scale yourself in a heartbeat to who you would have been if you started a year ago, five, ten!
AND ALSO THOUGH YOU DON’T NEED TO.
What you do need to do?
Start now.
With what’s in front of you now.
With who you are now.
With what is coming out of you now.
With the way you’d do the visuals or branding or sharing now.
Want to be consistently sharing a message to an OH so for you audience who also buy wondrous things you create or share for ’em?
Delete EVERYTHING which in any way appears like compensation. Recompense. Regret. “If I was already that girl I’d have allllll of this in place”. Plus anything which stops you sharing today’s message today.
And BE THE PERSON WHO SHARES THE THING TODAY.
Repeat tomorrow.
Keep letting of every single thing which comes at you to tell you you’ll only get somewhere if you stop everything and first do that, it’s a lie.
Let the message in front of you out instead.
Let improvement and fine-tuning happen as an outcome of LETTING THE MESSAGE OUT NOW.
Stay the course.
Stay in the small singular thing in front of you.
Let the brand, the business, the outpouring, the thing God gave you, come to fruition because you simply said yes to what it is today, and bit by bit?
Your today’s built on one another.
You will be AMAZED at where you can be 6 months from now if you simply start consistently letting your today’s be today.
But you have to be willing, in all of that, to be okay with what today IS.
Yeah, you’re still out of shape / so far from where you want to be / haven’t met the person yet / think you have so long to go to heal whatever (a lie if you have Christ in you!) / just wanna skip to the good bit.
And?
Be here now.
Trust God has got you now.
Give Him your worries NOW.
Do today’s work – TODAY.
“Lord I give you my day. Let it be entirely your way! I ask you lead and guide me in the steps you have put in me already, and I thank you that you do!
I give you my worries of >>> name and give Him your worries <<< and I say they are now your concerns not mine!
Lead me in the path of righteousness Lord.
Cause me to be the voice you made me to be.
I say I have my full life TODAY.
And I have it abundantly.
