What if it were okay to command an overflow?

What if it were okay to expect more?

What if it were okay to expect the FULLNESS of what is available in this life, and for that to be not only an okay thing, but a good thing, a GOD thing?

I do not believe God wants you in struggle or lack unless He actively told you that’s where He’s placing you! And if that’s the case He will equip you for that and provide for you in it!

But a lot of the time what is actually happening is that somewhere along the way you came into agreement with less being acceptable.

And started to glorify lack.

Hear me when I say:

God did not instruct us to glorify struggle.

YES, as followers of Christ we can expect, well – anything! And definitely persecution as well as suffering! Through which He will equip and guide us!

But WE are not the ones who are meant to define what kind of suffering we should be going through.

Every DAY in Him is a dying to self. A surrendering of own will and way. A letting go of ideals and imagination of ourselves.

Hear me when I say:

This does not mean add a laundry list of specifics or tangibles it ‘obviously’ must mean, all erring on the side of ‘if I’m learning how to live with less it must be of God!’

The opposite extreme is an (equally ungodly) naming and claiming of everything we think we want or need, aka full prosperity gospel on the loose and really just another way of trying to be in control or be our own source, but we CANNOT throw the baby out with the bathwater on the money thing!

I’m particularly talking to those of you who have come from a solid background of self exaltation and the endless pursuit of MORE, and who are now gun-shy around anything to do with, well – more.

It’s time to ask the Lord for FRESH vision which is untainted by your own ideas of what walking rightly by Him would look like. And also untainted by the truth of what you fell for previously, in the world.

Don’t you know you have a new identity in Christ?!

You’re not HER anymore!

Stop worrying about accidentally being her.

And think about this:

What if the way God wired you was for a reason? What if He got it right in the first place?! What if the wealth anointing … leadership mantle … discernment to see and know things which pertain to how others in leadership need support and direction … were something you should EXPECT to see flourish?!

And what if, in actual fact, you were meant to be COMMANDING into being the things He puts inside of you?

Trusting that His Spirit IS leading you, oh, and also?

He has given you a voice and authority AS His voice on this earth for a reason.

A day or two ago, God showed me a vision.

I saw Him unblocking the floodgates.

I don’t know much about the mechanics of dams, but it seemed like a dam wall opening up or shifting to allow the outpouring.

Pretty cool!

And of course I thought – “yes God, let’s go! Bring on the outpouring!”

But do you know what He said to me?

“You have to command the outpouring”.

Whaaaatttttt?

I’ll admit my response, because I have carried fear in this area, fear of being ‘that’ girl again, all about the pursuit of higher levels for herself, was to question whether He really said that.

So I asked – “how do I believe I’m meant to do that God?”

Really I meant (and He knew I did!) – “how do I feel safe to know I’m not just thinking I’m hearing what I want to hear?”

And He said this:

“In the area of your health, fitness, and wellness, you expect nothing less than the fullness of what is available in me.

You boldly command and INSIST upon healing for yourself and others.

You have full faith it can be performed, because you know I can, and you believe I will.

You EXPECT it to be performed. To a standard of excellence.

All inherent with surrender to the fact that if for some reason I don’t choose to perform the healing, that’s okay.

But seeing as how you don’t know whether I MIGHT choose to withhold it, you simply operate from certainty and faith.

So why,

in the area of wealth,

do you think you should be cautious ‘just in case’?

Or expect anything other than the fullness of what is available in me,

and what I have shown you specifically in you?”

He said all of that in a simple heartbeat, a sensing, a reveal.

So command an outpouring, huh?

Kinda reminds me of when He told me I have to CONTEND for my future husband, to meet / find Him.

And I said “okay God, sure – but why? Why can’t you just make it happen?!”

He said –

“through contending, you will come to know your true desires. And that is how you will find / meet Him”.

Our desires, when we live in surrender to God, are sanctified.

They are His thoughts for us.

How cool is that?!

But no.

He won’t bomp us over the head with a gift of something we actually needed to walk through the expectation and commanding of.

COMMAND seems to be a big word from God to me this year.

Command the atmosphere.

Contend for and command the relationship.

Command the outpouring.

Sometimes I just wish I could sleep and then wake up in The Promised Land!

But if I really want to be His voice … and I do … then it makes sense I need to learn how to use it. How to dictate heaven on earth. How to walk in authority.

And how to walk into a room and command what it should be, in His Name.

And?

He will equip and direct.

But YOU.HAVE.TO.OPEN.YOUR.MOUTH.

You have to COMMAND into being what He shows you.

Reality:

Your business, ministry, WALK, should be revealing Jesus all day every day.

He will show how that looks for you!

No it doesn’t have to be about any kind of outcome, growth, result.

But it IS about what you see inside of you, when your lens is Him.
