I heard the Lord say “live fully, and expect
ALL of it. AGGRESSIVELY shine.”
But He had just said to me right before that –
“90% of your outpouring should be to me”
This is not contradictory –
This ‘grabbing hold of all of it and expecting the fullness of who He is through us, expecting to SHINE’ energy doesn’t mean be everywhere all the
time. It’s connected to the 90%.
Be in His presence.
Be being filled up.
Be renewed.
And when you come out, come out
expectant and KNOWING you will shine as the Lord’s intended with what you carry.
It will not be because you hustled your
way there, or worked endlessly to get to
a place of being exalted, and seen.
It will be because God Himself prepared you,
anointed you, equipped you, placed His power in you, and gave you authority to
step out and take your place victoriously.
It is a given that the chosen and redeemed
daughter or son of God, who has
submitted their life to His service and
trusted Him in all things in place of their
own understanding, will find themselves
supernaturally graced in a place others
strive to reach, jostle with everybody around them to try and reach, and yet
still never can.
This is how God intended His elect to
live, when He made some as prophets, others
as teachers, some apostles, evangelists,
pastors, ALL messengers with His Word
in them to carry, and release!
If He called you for success in the marketplace also, and has given you
vision to see yourself speaking, preaching,
authority, teaching, impacting, making straight the way of the King with your work, His plan is also to PLACE you there, fully equipped and powered by grace for supernatural multiplication for the Kingdom!
And you will shine!! Gloriously, reflecting the
light in you and compelling many to change,
to turn, and to be transformed.
You will come out on fire.
Your voice will be lit up.
Your words will be amplified!
You will be heard precisely where He says you will be heard, and above all the jostle and noise!
This is not and can not be an outcome
of your own effort!
When social media is calling,
and you think you need to make
sure you come up with something to say,
The way of God’s chosen, who will carry
His fire and His voice to the world,
requires humility only He can
cloak you in, and a discipline you
agree to daily — and may at times need to more that — for your consistency to be
for Him.
When production and performance is demanding a chapter or a voice or podcast or extra sermon or even a simple post –
STOP.
Did God give you this?
Is it coming from the overflow, His presence
spilling out of you?
Or are you scraping stubbornly at a well
you know is filled up empty by you??
Is it CERTAINTY –
Or is your soul screaming desperately at you that there will be no you for anyone to know about or see if you don’t produce, perform…
show up, make sure they see!
And meanwhile,
in the place where you meet and you linger with God,
your prayer cushion is cold
pages unturned
and epistles He was waiting to write in your heart,
sweet love notes and words of fire just between you and Him, but some also for release, the words which command the atmosphere and ARE that magnetic light,
remain unspoken
never written
heard
or said.
The road is not easy.
The path is not wide.
It will require far more waiting, and being brilliantly in the wait,
than what you can imagine,
or think to stand.
But the truth is there is a place so easy
and the only way you’d choose.
It’s in the place with your Saviour
where once again you lay down your all,
refuse every grasping voice + idea big or small,
and turn,
to be filled.
He’s made us for worship.
And worship we DO seek.
Lord let it be you we cry!
And not the sound of our own feet taking a road to a place which appears so shiny and true,
and yet never at all existed,
without you.
Let us be your shining one, Lord.
We say yes to being aggressively
bright!
Lit from within by covenant
and commanding the flow of every day and its night always,
for your purposes,
Signed,
your faithful child always,
moved so by grace.

My love, we have to take SO seriously that we are the called daughters of the Lord, here to release something which is BURNING, lit with heavenly fire by oil of the Spirit which does not just go out!
And we think we need to get better at being consistent or following biz strategy?? PAH! THAT IS NEXT LEVEL CRAZY.
We need to get better at bowing before the One who made us and waiting for His fire to overTAKE us. And.it.will. ALWAYS.
You can be driven, high performing, ‘too much’ and STILL wait until that slow burn of the rest of the Lord comes upon you, because only THEN will that too much-ness He MADE you for flow outta you.
