God has been speaking to me about compromise this last day or so, and so now?
I’m speaking to you.
Compromise, I believe, will destroy you.
I’m not just talking about the big and obvious stuff, the definitely rebellious or wayward move you flat out KNOW is a bad idea yet justify for … reasons.
I’m talking about the small adjustment.
The slight pushing down.
The quick turn of the head.
And the decision to simply NOT listen,
now.
As you ineffectively yet insistently console yourself with the idea that later,
you’ll get to it.
Stop doing it.
Surrender with it.
Or finally face God full on and let Him BE God on this thing.
Shall I remind you of something?
Something I know oh too well personally?
Our inability to put down or pick up the thing which God has given us clear direction on (if only we’d listen and also BELIEVE that since we have the mind of Christ we DO have clarity …), well –
it’s a by-product of a lack of believing God to be God.
To put it bluntly:
It’s questioning God’s character!
And instead believing a lie that God’s word applies except to me. Except in this situation. Expect this once. The justification being that WE are not doing something right in order for His Word to apply!
One of the sneakiest of all untruths in this area is on faith itself! “God’s word would apply to me if only I got better at believing”.
Well sure … a rising faith is a FANTASTIC way to see God’s promises come to fruition in your life, His further Word for you revealed, Christ shining through you in all things, your inheritance as His child visible now!
But,
it is not YOUR efforting which causes faith to rise.
Just as it is not YOUR ability or wisdom which allows you to have clarity on the things of God,
to hear from Him,
or anything!
In fact …
God’s desire for us and what He has already GIVEN us is that we get to stop trying altogether.
We get to completely quit –
Trying to believe enough.
Trying to hear right.
Trying to do right.
Trying to distinguish between Him and ourselves.
Trying anything!
And instead we get to simply AGREE with Him, and know that by His Spirit in us the clarity, peace, certainty, and correct step forward will appear!
In case nobody ever told you: your mind, emotions and will do not have to get the memo in order for your spirit to agree with God’s.
These parts of you, which form your soul, are meant to submit to His Spirit in yours, meaning … they’ll get with the program eventually.
So here is a suggestion for you today:
PUT DOWN THE TRYING.
In fact, repent!
And then ask God by His Spirit to give you words to come into agreement with Him anew.
On a particular thing.
Or on EVERYTHING.
Begin to proclaim LIFE over yourself, and life abundantly, by the blood of Jesus.
I promise you,
this stuff works when you let God do the work.
And?
It’s time.

Can I show you a little of what God showed me?
I saw an open heaven, a tearing of the skies above us, an open heaven, the mysteries of what lay beyond that unseen and yet,
here.
I got on my knees and began to pray, in my own words and the ones He gave me, and I asked
“Lord, what would you have me see?”
I saw a beam coming down, a supernatural flow of some kind, a CHARGE, a light, yet not in the way we would understand it, and it was enclosing me, filling me, CAUSING me,
to be.
It was as though the beam and I were one, yet without it
there would be no me. Or at least,
not one who could move, give voice, breathe, and be.
I saw that this beam, this light, this flow from an open heaven, was what I was walking in, speaking in, it filled me from within, it POWERED me,
the grace of heaven in visual form.
And I saw that God was offering revelation to me, simply,
so I could choose to agree.
To agree that my every move, my every breath, my every step,
was of Him
by Him
to Him
through Him
and from Him
for His glory
and Kingdom
Amen.
I started to proclaim, and declare, and decree. In my own words and again, those not of me.
I said “yes Lord,
I say I am powered by grace.
I say my every move is of thee.
I say let my every step and breath and choice,
be what you cause me to see.
I say that in the name of Jesus I will speak to mountains and they will crumble.
I will command pathways to come to be.
I will cause valleys to appear.
I will speak to issues of circumstance, contention, and the things which cause us to feel or remain stuck, and I will require it to disappear.
In your Name, and by the power you run through me which enables me to BE I will look with YOUR vision, see with YOUR eyes, view through YOUR mind, and have your gaze,
as far as the eye can see.
